I was very young when it was first released but I was 12 or 13 when I heard it for the first time, that’s when The Beatles would become my favorite band. I don’t remember all the Christmas Radio shows they did and never attended a live performance of The Beatles but that doesn’t take away from my love for their music.
Any time a listen to music by the The Beatles I am brought back to my younger years and hearing the album at my best friends house on his Hi-Fi (Not Wi-Fi).
I always wondered what would be different if John lived longer. Maybe a reunion, maybe just one more album from the Fab Four. I am not an aficionado of The Beatles trivia I just love all of their music. I have three copies of the vinyl and one I found in a second hand store with all the cutouts and stickers that came with the original release. What a find.
