2024 SAMMY People’s Choice. Each year we host a web-based competition to see whose fans are the most psyched about their favorites in each of four categories: Artist or Band, Event or Series, Academic or Musical Organization, and Venue.
Online nominations for 2024! Open the link below to submit your favorites. All nominated artists and bands, events and music series, academic and musical organizations, and venues in the Central NY area are eligible and will be included in the first round.
You only need to submit each one once.
The submission period ends on January 14th.
Voting begins on January 16, 2024!
Since 2007, the Sammys has attracted millions of votes through its online voting system. Nominations and voting are free and open to the public. The Winners will be announced Friday, March 8, 2023 at the SAMMY Awards Show, Palace Theatre in Syracuse.

2024 SAMMYS Press Conference is scheduled for Tuesday, February 6, 2024, at 10:00am, at SubCat Studios. At that time, the nominees from 2023 recorded music submissions will be announced in their category, in addition to the slate of 2024 Hall of Fame, Lifetime Achievement and Educator of the Year inductees
Tickets to both events will go on sale February 6, 2024.
