Hi 443-ers!
We’ve been getting tons of emails and messages about when we might be reopening the 443.
Here’s the scoop:
We were really hoping to have the Save Our Stages/Shuttered Venue Operator Grant funding in hand before we tried to open the doors again, but the whole thing has been a complete shitshow, one delay after another. There is no telling when we might actually see this “emergency” aid…we definitely didn’t think it would take this long. We’re hearing we might get it sometime in June, but who knows?
We’ve made the decision to reopen on Thursday, July 22, 2021. We’re planning on starting with a limited schedule, likely about 3 days a week and we’ll ramp up to a full schedule after Labor Day in September. We’ve begun booking shows and we’ll have our first batch of announcements and ticket links in next week’s email on Monday, June 7. We’ve got some great shows cooking and we can’t wait to share them with you!
IMPORTANT NOTE:
Due to restrictions regarding unvaccinated guests, we will require all attendees to show proof of vaccination at the door before entering. We are a small venue and simply don’t have space to provide a reduced capacity area or the manpower to monitor mask wearing for unvaccinated guests. It’s not financially viable for us to reopen for both groups. We are choosing to reopen for our vaccinated guests only rather than remain closed.
We appreciate you all hanging in there with us! Keep an eye on your inbox next week for show announcements.
