My favorite festival is back on track for 2021. A Lovely Time will be at Snow Ridge in Turin, NY on July 9th and 10th. This will be the third year the event takes place and the creators (Drew Shoup, Charlie Giancola, and Nick Feeley) are constantly improving and growing the multi-stage layout. Skateboarding, camping, workshops, regional bands and diverse vendors create a well rounded experience. You can take a hike, do some yoga or just relax and take it all in. I have really enjoyed my time here and am ecstatic that it is happening. Some new activities include an additional skate bowl, a disc golf course and a collab with Ninja Barracks. It is a pretty laid back environment with lots of options to get some exercise and enjoy the outdoors. Drum circles, bon fires and acoustic performances flank the bigger bands and create endless options for your day. “Crock Rock,” “Shady Grove,” and an improved acoustic late night “Rambling Rabbit” stage area provide unique music viewing environments. Another new workshop will focus on photo blogs documenting festival goers experiences. Disposable cameras will be given out to those interested in recording their perspective. Copies of the photos will be sent to participants.
The restaurant at the ski lodge, Tavern 240, will be open but you can also bring your own food and beverages. There will be tea tasting by UNYTea planned as well.

The ticket prices are all inclusive. ” With the state regulations changing constantly, there is currently a 500 person cap to the event. We think it is important to make the festival as accessible as possible. We will be selling tickets in waves until they sell out. Currently the first wave of “blind faith” tickets are sold out, they are now $50 and they will increase as we sell weekend passes and reach certain capacities.
