All Poets & Heroes Release Single “Tardigrade”

AP&H

Tardigrade was released on all streaming platforms last week followed by a show at Funk ‘n Waffles with Late Earth and Canadian touring band Kasador. Rob McCall, Corey Jordan, Zack Fitzgerald, and Rob Zaccaria were joined by bassist Nash Robb of The Old Main. It was a great lineup of bands to celebrate the single release but All Poets & Heroes stole the show with their intro. The band launched new merch and have t shirts and stickers available. You can see Jordan wearing the new shirt in the pictures below. I loved Tardigrade the first time I heard it. By loved, I mean I immediately added it to my funeral playlist. It really spoke to me. Anyway, I am glad to be able to share it with you now. My only complaint is that it’s so short. It leaves me wanting more but that’s a good thing.

Rob McCall and Corey Jordan formed All Poets & Heroes, name inspired by Walden, in 2015. They released an EP, Where We Lived and What We Lived For, in 2017. Tardigrade is the second single released from the upcoming full length album. Jordan acted as the main producer, McCall co-produced it and all songs were written by the two. They played most instruments as well. Nash Robb played upright bass. Tamaralee Shutt plays trumpet, Hayley Coolican adds French Horn and Jess Novak plays violin. Zack Fitzgerald recorded additional guitar parts and Pat Grimes played synth. Dom Scicchitano, Shiggy Music, played drum parts. Recording was done remotely with Jeremy Johnston and then mastered by Mark Bengston. The band recently signed with Flight Entertainment. This new album really highlights Jordan and McCall’s styles and contributions.
