I don’t know about you but I was having a hard time jumping back into the hustle and bustle, especially staying up to take on the late nights once curfew lifted. I ripped off the band aid and got out a few times last week. Now it feels like I woke up from a bad dream. The city is hopping with more and more options each day. It’s good to be back. Of course we are lucky to have Blues Fest happening at the Fairgrounds this week. If you want a little trip there are a plethora of outside spaces like Crazy Daisies, Heritage Hill, Meier’s Creek, Harpoon Eddie’s and the Tiki Bar to get some sun with your music. But, let’s talk about downtown today. You can park once then hit up a bunch of things.
Weekends on Walton has returned with dining and live music in the streets of Armory Square. Kasai Ramen features local artists inside and has live music outside. Visit the Blue Tusk in their 26 year home before you can’t. Margaritas is always busy serving up Mexican favorites. Irish, Japanese, Thai… it’s all available.

The Salt City Market’s bar and patio are rockin’. The second art mart comes to Salt City’s parking lot Sunday with live music and vendors.
Lights on Fayette has their monthly installment of art and music. This time it’s also a 70’s themed casting call.
Jacqueline Colello has an art opening at the Inner Harbor Sunday and Rob McCall (All Poets & Heroes) performs.
Al’s Wine & Whiskey Lounge has late night entertainment with bands playing 10PM-1AM Wednesdays, Thursdays & Sundays.
