DESCRIPTION:Christina Wilcox has been a fixture at Copper City Brewing Company since before it opened. Originally brought on as a temporary help-us-get-on-our-feet hire\, Christina did what Christina does and took the bull by the horns and has stayed on since then.\n\nAnyone who knows her\, knows her tenacity. And right now she is taking the biggest bull by the horns as she navigates her treatments for stage 3 colorectal cancer.\n\nThere have been upticks and setbacks along the way\, but the one constant through all of this has been her fiance\, Eric. He transports her back and forth to Rochester\, and never leaves her side. Her kids\, Christian and Bella have also been there through all of it.\n\nNow it’s our turn. The public is invited to learn more or just to join in on the celebration. SUMMARY:Rock for Hope: an Ozzy Tribute and Parkinson's Benefit
DESCRIPTION:Join us on October 18th to pay tribute to musician Ozzy Osbourne at the 607 Rock for Hope: an Ozzy Tribute and Parkinson’s Benefit. The event will be held at Touch of Texas\, located at 1240 Front St\, Binghamton\, NY. Doors open at noon and the event will run until 6 PM. Admission to the event is $10.\nThroughout the event\, 15 bands will perform songs from both Black Sabbath and Ozzy Osbourne’s solo career. While honoring one of the founding fathers of heavy metal\, we will also be raising money for Parkinson’s research through various raffles and secret auctions. Food and refreshments will also be available at the tribute.\nOzzy Osbourne passed away on July 22nd after battling Parkinson’s disease\, which he revealed his diagnosis of in 2020. He was the frontman of the legendary metal band Black Sabbath and also had a successful solo career.
