It’s our own foray into the world of sketch comedy inspired by none other than the great SNL/Saturday Night Live show. Special thanks to SAS member Steve Suppa for the idea for this one.\n-We will be at Safe Space in Downtown Syracuse: 120 E Washington Street\, Ste 601\, Syracuse\, NY 13202.\n-We will break up into teams and have an hour to prepare comedy skits. Sketches can be either original or imitate SNL or other comedy you’ve seen. You are welcome to write some in advance or just come up with them on the spot with your team.\n-The show will be recorded in its entirety and put on our YouTube channel @SyracuseActorsStudio. We are looking into actually streaming it live\, but no promises.\n-The Great Jay Merante of Jay Merante Comedy will be our celebrity host and give the monologue. He’s taking Walton Goggins’s place who unfortunately was double-booked that evening.\n-Laura will be leading our Weekday Update (inspired by the SNL Weekend Update) and will possibly have a special guest and definitely have a special announcement. Bill was one of Shirley’s main care takers during her battle. During this time Bill missed several Weeks of work—he was the sole provider for the home.
