DESCRIPTION:Just some punk slvts from Syracuse\, NY.\n/////\nNo Complyance is a Punk band from Rome\, NY with a focus on raw energy and Anarchist politics. Originally formed in 2010 in Ant’s basement\, the band took on a couple different names and a member change before the 3 piece of of Jesse (guitar)\, James (bass)\, and Anthony (drums) (all did lead vocals) took form. John joined the band in 2016\, kicking Anthony off the drums and up front to be the bands new vocalist. This is the current line up. DESCRIPTION:Songwriters Showcase at The Yard in Manlius is a new every Sunday afternoon event. It runs from 1:00 to 3:00. The Yard is a unique place to play with artisan shops\, a brewery and cafe. This is an outdoor venue\, but the stage and the seating is covered in what was the foundation of an old barn. The ORIGINALS ONLY showcase takes place during a classic car show and shipping container yard sale that runs from noon to 4:00\, so there’s opportunity to run longer than 3:00. I’ll be hosting this every week and I’m excited to share the spotlight with anyone who’s interested. DESCRIPTION:Colin Cutler is a Greensboro\, North Carolina-based singer-songwriter\, folk musician\, poet\, and storyteller toting a banjo and guitar. Whether solo or with his band\, Hot Pepper Jam\, he is a wide-ranging performer whose musical roots draw from the breadth of American folk music—from Appalachian oldtime to blues to gospel to country to rock’n’roll—to form what No Depression has described as “one magnificent tapestry of roots music.”. \nWhile his first few albums were directly inspired by his background in oldtime music\, his most recent effort was even more ambitious and electric. DESCRIPTION:Singer-songwriters ABE PARTRIDGE & JACK BARKSDALE make their 443 debut on July 23.\nAbe Partridge is a heralded musician\, singer/songwriter\, visual artist\, storyteller and documentarian based in Mobile\, Alabama.Since the release of his debut album Cotton Fields and Blood for Days in 2018\, Partridge has toured relentlessly\, including several tours throughout Europe. He is a regular at several great music festivals such as the 30a Songwriters Fest\, and the Laurel Cove Music Fest as well as listening rooms across the country including the legendary Bluebird Cafe in Nashville\, Eddies Attic in Atlanta\, and Duke’s in Indianapolis. Recently\, he toured extensively with Matthew Sweet\, Drivin’ N Cryin’\, and Dar Williams in support of his latest release Love in the Dark. He has performed on several syndicated NPR radio programs including\, Mountain Stage and Woodsongs Old Time Radio Hour.\nJack Barksdale is a 17 year old folk/Americana singer/songwriter from Texas. Inspired by folk\, rock\, and blues legends\, Jack started performing original music at the age of nine and has already shared the stage with Wynonna Judd\, Ray Wylie Hubbard\, Junior Brown\, John Fullbright\, and Hayes Carll.\nRecently Jack signed a record deal with Truly Handmade Records\, formed by the estate of Guy Clark. Jack will release a full length album under Truly Handmade Records in June of 2025 featuring many notable guest artists. In September 2024 Jack released his 2nd EP “Out of Order and in October 2023 Jack launched a 7 song instrumental EP entitled Phantom Trails.”\nHis previous single “Gone” has garnered well over 2.8 million streams on Spotify and was featured on Apple Music’s ‘Southern Craft’ playlist.\nIn 2020 Jack launched a podcast focused on songwriters and songwriting called Jack Barksdale’s Roots Revival Podcast.Jack tours nationally and wows audiences with lyrics wise beyond his years.
