Free Range is participatory workshop based on vocal maestro Bobbie McFerrin’s Circle-song and improv artist Rhiannon’s Vocal River Series all of which is collective creative singing. We’ll warm up with deep listening\, breathing\, and exercises to open the voice and throat to sing. We’ll practice ‘music in motion’ and share the circle in improvised song. Participants will try their hand at facilitating if they feel moved. He will be giving us a Stand-Up Comedy seminar both instructional and with exercises. We are so excited to have him teach us!\nIt’s our 2nd Birthday! Come celebrate with us. We will be having a pizza party and cupcakes thanks to Solon Quinn Studios and our actors Dave Spiro & Brian Piccioni acting in one of their commercials recently. Our birthday party will be after the seminar but pizza will be available at 7PM.\nWe have a new home! We are so excited and grateful to call The Palace Theatre our new home for SAS. The Palace is located in Eastwood\, Syracuse: 2384 James Street. See parking instructions below. Please help us make the place better than we found it. We are so excited to be able to hold SAS in this beautiful historical theatre!\nPerformances are back! We have a few signed up but are still looking for a few more to fill our half-hour slot.
