DESCRIPTION:Welcome all rappers\, spoken word artists\, and fans of such to the Cypher Lounge. Hosted by Emerson B (aka LongStory)\, featuring a live resident band made up of Ashley Ickes on drums\, Michael Schuler on bass\, and Emmett Scott on keys\, come showcase your art to the community in real time collaboration.\nThere will be a sign up sheet if you want to perform.\nAcceptable performances include: rapping/freestyling\, vocal collaborations\, and spoken word. Remember that this is meant to be a live collaborative process between the musicians and performers\, which means that we will not play your tracks or be expected to play your songs. Performers can ask the band to play at a certain tempo\, but the music will be made up on the spot.
