Dave Porter is a Syracuse, New York-based musician best known as the founder, singer, and guitarist for the progressive rock band 805, which signed to RCA Records in 1980 and was known for MTV airplay. Currently, he performs solo in the NY region, specializing in progressive, blues, and classic rock covers with custom, innovative backing tracks.
