To derive the most benefit from any of these breakout sessions, please bring your acoustic guitar with you to the meeting. No one is ever pressured to play, but most long-time Guitar League members will tell you they are glad they brought their guitar with them to their first meeting, as they felt very comfortable playing in the judgement-free group sessions.
Song Circle:
Bob Raymonda will lead the song circle this month. Bring an original song or a cover tune you are working on to play for the circle. If you would like others to accompany you, please bring copies to share with the group.

Rookies and Rusties:
Learning to sing and play guitar at the same time is an acquired skill in and of itself. Jim Flynn will be leading this group through the following 6 songs: Horse With No Name, Guitar Man, Singing the Blues, What Do You Do With A Drunken Sailor, Black Velvet Band and Over In Killarney. An ambitious undertaking, but all are songs with basic chords and (as usual) fast paced and fun. Jim emailed this month’s song sheets last week. If you didn’t
receive them, let Bob Lewis know by emailing him at bobflewis94@gmail.com

Finger Picking for Rookies and Rusties:
A great introduction to popular finger picking styles for those looking for another skill in addition to playing with a pick or strumming with your thumb. Jeff Stanton sent out this month’s songs last week. If you didn’t receive them, let Bob Lewis know by emailing him at bobflewis94@gmail.com
