Matthew Ardizzone

Experience an evening of exceptional classical guitar with Matthew Ardizzone, an internationally recognized guitarist and the first guitarist to earn a Doctor of Musical Arts degree from the Eastman School of Music.
Praised by the Pittsburgh Tribune for his “sensitive nuances” and by the NYC Guitar Society for his “incredible tone, marvelous technical facility, and poetic phrasing,” Matthew Ardizzone has performed across North America, including New York, Montréal, Detroit, Pittsburgh, Houston, Los Angeles, and San Francisco. His collaborations include performances with flutist Leone Buyse, violinists Movses Pogossian and Yehonatan Berick, saxophonist Matthew Sintchak, and soprano Audrey Luna.
Presented in partnership with the Great Lakes Guitar Society and the Skaneateles Library.
An award-winning recording artist, his solo CD Mazurka! received a Communicator Crystal Award of Excellence, and he has been recognized with top prizes in the Rantucci and Stotsenberg International Guitar Competitions. Mr. Ardizzone has also served on the faculties of Bowling Green State University, Nazareth College, and the Eastman Community Music School.
