JAM-FUNK FOR THE JUNK IN YOUR TRUNK – that’s the unapologetic calling card of High Pines, a band dedicated to bringing pure energy and groove to every stage they touch. With a high-octane blend of funk, rock, and neo-psychedelic exploration, no two shows are ever the same. Their sound is a union of smooth grooves designed to make the bodies move, fusing jazz appreciation with rock spirit and layering it all with enchanting vocal harmonies.
From intimate venues to festival stages up and down the East Coast, High Pines has carved out a reputation for delivering a one-of-a-kind live experience. Their sets evolve with the moment, leaning into improvisation and spontaneity while never losing the dance-floor-ready funk foundation that keeps crowds shimmying and shaking.

Sweet Degenerates are an
Alt Rock/Indie Americana band from Western/Southern Tier New York
The group started in 2023 with founding members,
Johnny VanName (Lead Guitar/Vocals) and Liam Johns (Lead Vocals/Guitar)
Current additional members include:
Kaleb Borgus (Bass Guitar/Vocals)
Miles Muhleisen (Keys/Sax/Vocals)
Adam Jeffords (Drums)
Together they fuse their individual influences to create a unique sound that is punchy and energetic yet also emotional and tender when needed. Recently taking second place for best local band in the GLOW region.
They have appeared on local Rochester
radio station Wayo 104.3, opened for national touring act Driftwood at Buffalo Iron Works, headlined several shows at the Geneseo Riviera, and performed at multiple festivals such as
The West Almond Stomp, The G Lodge, Birdstock, and Shindig 6.
Sweet Degenerates have traveled and played in several different states and cities across the US including
Buffalo NY, Cincinnati Ohio, Murfreesboro Tennessee, and Asheville North Carolina.
They’re planning on releasing their debut EP in spring of 2026, with no telling what the future may hold take the opportunity to experience Sweet Degenerates live and in person coming to town near you soon.
