The Best of Yacht Rock at The Ridge

Even if you haven’t heard the term, you’ve most definitely heard every song that falls into this 2005 YouTuber created category. Soft rock from the 1970’s and early 80’s characterized by smooth vocals, polished production and influences of jazz, R&B and soul – think Michael McDonald, Kenny Loggins, Hall and Oates, Steely Dan, Toto (incredibly talented session musicians who played on thousands of records), Christopher Cross, a slew of one hit wonders and the list goes on. Our good friends and incredible musicians – Showtime – will be holding down part of the show and special guests Gridley Paige AM Gold (The Yacht Rock Experience) and Train Wreck will be “on board” as well. As always, there will be plenty of only-at-the-Ridge collaborative set too! 35 musicians in all so come sing along – it will be loads of fun and you’ll know every word!
