Charley Orlando Back in the Saddle

Charley Orlando is releasing new music. His friends and fans are happy to see his recovery from an emergency back surgery last Fall.  He performed, Livin’ the Streamlive streams over the past few months and shared some of his previous work over Facebook.  His new project, Note to Self,  will be released on music platforms October 30th. He will be sharing a video weekly leading up to the audio release.

Orlando premiered the first song and video on July 10th at 4:20 PM. “Take Cover” is both a lighthearted, catchy song and deep lyrically. Between quarantine and current events becoming ever more intense artists and musicians are using their talents to share messages.  “Aint no peace through war…With so little based in truth these days, aren’t you sick of being lied to?” The video features relevant footage from current events. The message is to take care of each other and not let hatred win. This song is already stuck in my head and that’s not a bad thing.

Orlando also plays with Grateful Dead cover band, Pearly Baker’s Best. They are greatly missed by their devoted fans at their Funk N’ Waffles Monday residency. That is still on hold due to covid but they do have a show scheduled at Middle Ages Brewing Company on August 9.
