Chris Eves and The New Normal Release “One Spark”

The new album hits all the right notes and reaches a broad audience.

Chris Eves and The New Normal managed to create a nine song record that successfully represents the band’s live sound at More Sound  Recording Studios with dream team Andrew Greacen and Jocko Randall. One spark, the title track, is an elevating ballad with a positive message. Set the World on Fire features strong guitar solos expected from Eves. In between is a sexy song with a danceable groove, funky keys, falsettos and a catchy chorus. “You’ve got me somewhere in between, Is this real or is this just a dream?” Paint My World is a radio ready uplifting tune. Light the Fuse will bring out your funkiest dance moves or steering wheel drumming skills. It definitely has a vibe. “Baby I’m the match and you’re the dynamite….Why don’t we just light the fuse.”

Whether you like Phish, The Allman Brothers, Zac Brown (refer to Outside Looking In), or original music that seamlessly fits in to your favorite playlist The New Normal once again comes shining through with “One Spark.”  If you miss seeing Eves with Skunk City or Castle Creek this band showcases all of his multi Instrumental, vocal and songwriting skills as well as each bandmate’s.  Many songs feel like that just right song you want when you jump in the car and turn the radio on. They are high energy, catchy and have just enough emphasis on guitar & key solos to make them stand out as true musicians. I highly suggest seeing them live. I’d bet the songs get a little extra jam time.  Give them a follow on Facebook and listen to the album on Spotify and iTunes now.

Eves also plays solo and with Phish tribute band Dinner and a Movie.
