I recommend stopping out and seeing this show. It is a nice break from the weather and the daily news. The story of a bride-to-be trying to find out who she is and finding her father that she never met, all told using hit songs by the popular 1970s group ABBA. I am sure everybody remembers ABBA and from the 1970s and 80s on MTV and VH1.
The show opened to a full theater, they already have several sold-out evenings and with good cause. The production was top notch from beginning to end. Very well-choreographed stage performance of every song. Every song was performed with such passion that I am sure everybody in the audience wanted to get up sing and dance. Especially the grand finally. The scene changes were done in such a way you didn’t even notice, it was as if the change was part of the performance. I could see that a lot of hard work was put into this from the Director to every cast member. I say to cast and crew, A job well done.
CNY Playhouse has brought this tale to their theater at Shopping Town Mall. Playing Thursday thru Sunday until March 2nd.
