On December 22 the Westcott Theater opens its doors at noon to some of the Cuse Community’s best bands to benefit fellow musician Charley Orlando. Tickets are $20 and all proceeds go to help Charley with medical expenses incurred by an emergency spinal surgery. He was misdiagnosed with carpal tunnel, was in pain and had lost much use of his left arm. He went to the ER and had spinal fusion surgery. Insurance is not covering all of the bills. Let’s get Charley back on track and back on stage.

Charley is not only a musician; he is involved heavily in the local music scene with Little Rock Music Group, booking and more. All of these musicians are coming together to return the support. Root Shock, Sophistafunk, Pearly Baker’s Best, The Old Main, Joe Driscoll, Chris Eves, Chris Merkely and Bea will provide a stellar day of music. There are raffles including many prize baskets. Harmonic Dirt is raffling off a private house concert. Anything But Beer will be at the event. Bring your family and friends to see what the music community is all about and support a great cause. Kick off the holiday with the spirit of giving.

An All-Star Jam After Party hosted by Mike Spadaro will have free admission at Funk ‘n Waffles at 9:30.
