Decree Rocks the Roadhouse with a Swift Kick too

“One Swift Kick” opened for Decree at the Roadhouse 48 in Fulton. Lorne Coon take the front for One Swift Kick, and did a great job, accompanied by Noel Ebner on Guitar and Louie Fortin on Drums. These three have played together in other groups in the past and are a solid group. I would have liked to seen a longer set but the songs they did play did not disappoint. Most impressive was they pulled out a Who song “My Wife”, I have know Lorne for many decades and he one the best Bassists in Central New York, only he can pull of John Entwistle. Noel and Louie filled out the songs, that included one of my favorites Elvis Costello’s “Peace, Love and Understanding”, and a band original “The Wall” I hope to see this trio again soon.

Now that the stage and crowd were warmed up on a chilly night. DECREE took the stage.  Decree Central New York’s premier party band did not disappoint. They played all the crowds favorites, Stix, Poison, Pat Benatar, Tesla and Green Day. Solid strong stage presence. The night turned into a great party.

The Roadhouse 48 was a great place for the party. Perfectly remodeled bar, with stage and upstairs as well. Great parking available and the Staff takes care of their customers and the food is a great. Be sure to stop out and say hello to everybody at The Roadhouse 48
