Shakespeare in the Park. Celebrate the 22nd season of free begins in June 2024! Begin Summer with Hamlet in the beautiful Thornden Park Amphitheater! You won’t want to miss it. Pack a picnic, bring your friends, and prepare for laughter, love, existential crisis, concern for family, romance, and classic comedy ! Westcott Art Trail, celebrating it’s 23rd season! Saturday, June 15, 10 am – 6 pm. Enjoy the self-guided tour & explore nearly 70 local artists in their front yards, as well as, key locations throughout the Westcott Community. Westcott Community Center, Petit Library & Erwin First Methodist Church. Pick up your map @ Westcott Community Center and Petit Library. Rose Day 2024! Saturday June 15, 11am-3pm. Join the party as the Syracuse Rose Society celebrates the 100th Anniversary of the EM Mills Rose Garden located at the Ostrum Ave entrance of Thornden Park. Garden Walking Tours, Skilled Demonstrations include: Making Rose Corsages, Insect and Rose Disease Identification, Rose Pruning, How to plant Rosebuds & more!
