Otro Cinco has a diverse line up of music for January. The first show of the month was Nicholas DiMaria Quintet featuring CNY musicians Joey Arcuri, Byron Cage, Mike Dubaniewicz, and David Millen. The set was filled with funky jazz covers and originals. Other jazz musicians were in attendance enjoying the talented combo. DiMaria, trumpet player and composer, studies jazz at the Manhattan School of Music and was happy to have local gigs while home. He joined SoulPlay on NYE at Turning Stone. Otro Cinco Late Night provides opportunities to see unique bands with no cover charge. The restaurant serves their house made menu until 1 AM and has a full bar with weekly drink specials. Patrons can sit at a table or the bar and there is plenty of room to stand and watch the music stationed in the front window. Otro has a cool vibe with its dim lighting and stylish decor.
