Tuesday

It’s been an incredible season and we’re not done yet! On Tuesday, August 13, we’ll be celebrating the decades of great rock and roll that The Who and Pete Townshend have produced with over 25 of our area’s best players. Don’t miss another only-at-The-Ridge collaborative performance and the magic that happens every time our stage comes alive. Be there to experience it and feel it for yourself – come, and show the love! 6 pm

Wednesday

Relax with GeriRig Unplugged and take in the breathtaking view of Green Lakes from Yards Grille patio.  5-8 pm

Thursday

Jazz in the City hits Thornden Park this Thursday. 6-9 pm

The Community Arts Partnerships 32nd annual juried show and sale of fine and functional art, with local and regional artists, community arts groups, food / wine / beer, raffles, and jazz throughout the day.

THE ARTISTS: The Artist Market is a unique opportunity for visitors to meet over 80 fine artists in one location. You’ll have great conversations, buy local art, and enjoy live music, performances, local food, all in a stunning lakeside setting. The local artistic talent and variety of art forms they create is truly outstanding.

You’ll see paintings, photographs, ceramics, altered books, art jewelry, quilts, fiber art, blown glass, collage, etchings, relief printing, handmade books, wood-turned functional items, mixed media, papercut art, illustrations, and sculpture. (Image: Michael Sampson)

And it’s not just visual artists! There are poets and writers along with local arts and community groups representing theatre, cinema, museums, and more. The Visitor Center is on hand to answer questions about the area, helping visitors make the most of their time in Tompkins County.

ENTERTAINMENT:

East Hill Classic Jazz Group – 12:30 to 7:00pm
This acoustic group (under the direction of seasoned Ithaca guitarist Doug Robinson & trumpeter Johnny Russo) includes guitarist London McDaniels, violinist Rolph Sokol, clarinetist Brian Earle, banjo virtuoso Drew Frech, plus several visiting vocalists.

FOOD AND DRINK: Over a dozen vendors will offer a wide variety of food and desserts plus local wine, craft beer, cider and more

Saturday

Join us in Clinton Square for a day of dancing, music, food, performances, and the culture of Latin America 12-9 pm.

Sunday

Shop all things vintage at our vintage market on Sunday, August 18th at Crazy Daisies Flowers. We hope to have a variety of clothing, dishware, home decor and much more!! 9:30 am – 4 pm

KMase is hosting an amazing show for the 10th anniversary of her Storytellers series at Funk ‘n Waffles 6 pm.
