The area’s best musicians will be paying tribute to the music of 4 Blues Hall Of Fame members: Michael Bloomfield (2012), Johnny “Guitar” Watson (2008), Ruth Brown (2002) & Big Bill The GREAT Salt City BLUES Concert 8 participating musicians are:

This year’s GREAT Salt City BLUES Concert 8 will be limited to 400 seated patrons and there is plenty of free parking at the Macedonian Orthodox Church parking lot. Food & beverages will be available and served by the church staff.


Friday

Seattle Sons return to Lyncourt with a brand new singer (Ben Wayne);
featuring Mason’s Revolt (Utica).
The Jugg on Teal 8-11 pm $10.

Saturday

The Born To Run Band was created to perform the music of Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band along with various other bands in the same genre. All instruments are played by some of the most talented musicians from the Central NY area to provide the audience one of the most true authentic performances they’ll ever experience – that is unless they go to see Bruce himself! As a group, we bring a unique level of precision and passion to Springsteen and others music through each individuals respect for the authenticity of the artists we are emulating, while not doing so in a clone-like manner. Looking to do something different on Sunday? Join Tommy Connors at the new Syracuse Whiskey Coop for a boozy brunch. Located in the old Empire Brewing Company spot in Armory Square. 12-3 pm.
