It’s cold outside but the scene is heating up with events all week long. Here are some highlights and new things to check out.

Jazz Jam is back at Funk ‘n Waffles every Sunday 3-5PM. Free entry and family friendly!

Meier’s Creek started Sunday brunch with live music 1-3PM. Check out the snowshoe & XC ski trails and the disc golf course. Their new location in the Syracuse Inner Harbor is also open.

I visited the new Empire Barbershop Bar conveniently located near Salt City Market. This block is coming to life. Yes, you can get a haircut while watching a game or listening to music. Check out my video of The Dirty Doves playing there recently.

Tony Thompson

Utica artist, Tony Thompson’s, work is on display at Kasai this month.

The Alien Opera House on Catawba Street is hosting Sunday Farmer’s markets with vendors, live music and all kinds of goodies.
