Sunday

Come meet the newest generation of artists & creatives at the Gear Factory! The newly finished 3rd floor will be open to the public and artists will be opening their doors to share their space and work with you!
Meet the artists that make The Gear Factory such a special place, enjoy refreshments and learn more about what projects are in the works! Owner, Rick Destito will be, catch him for a great story about the building and hear about the vision for the future!
Looking back 100 years ago, the Brown-Lipe Gear Company was the largest manufacturer of automobile gears in the world! In 2005 Rick Destito purchased the building which he would rename, The Gear Factory with the dream of creating a space to allow artists to grow in Syracuse. Today The Gear Factory is home to over 80 multi-media artists and has seen countless other “Gears”(tenants) pass through it’s doors.
This event will take place from noon-6pm Sunday September 18 on the third floor of The Gear Factory. Light refreshments provided.
The Event is Free to The Public
