February does fly by! Spring is in the air. I know we’ve got a ways to go but I am getting excited for the outdoor events and concerts. I was able to take a walk downtown and enjoy the nice weather. Floridella Boutique and a new plant shop, Adopted Roots, have moved into Midnight Sun and Ish Guitar’s old locations around the corner from The Sound Garden. We headed to Salt City Market for some Farm Girl Juice and sat on their patio. We talked about the return of Free Music Sundays at Funk ‘n Waffles and the upcoming SAMMY show downtown. Things felt “normal” and hopeful. I can’t wait to experience downtown coming back to life as well as feeling that within myself.
