I’m really looking forward to this week. We’ve got some nice weather to get out and check out some super cool events.
Wednesday

Visit State Bridge Collective on Wednesdays for Food Trucks and great tunes.
Thursday

Rock returns to “Styleen’s” with Not Robots! and Glass Image. Us Gen Xers all agree that Styleen’s was the best local venue. Now Benjamin’s is hosting live music more often and providing a little nostalgic experience. 8 PM $5
Friday

Ominous Seapods w/s/g Al Schnier of moe. and Hilltop the Band at Funk ‘n Waffles.
Meeting in the late ’80s while attending college in Plattsburgh, New York, the members of the neo-jam band Ominous Seapods soon found themselves at the head of a grass roots following fueled by their more than 200 live appearances each year. Just as Vermont’s Phish took their cue from the Greatful Dead’s endless touring and grass roots mailing list, the Ominous Seapods are at the forefront of a movement of newer jam-inspired, guitar dance bands.
Saturday

I Am Fool makes a comeback at Moondog’s Lounge.
It’s been too long! Legendary indie rock band I am Fool returns to Auburn’s happiest music venue with a bunch of old and new originals and choice covers. Celebrate the group’s first full concert in years with us!
Sunday

Serenade your mom with some local music for Mother’s Day. New mom, Jess Novak, is at Skaneateles Brewery.
