Happy Summer Solstice! This is my favorite time of year. We have the longest days so make the most out of them.

This week the city hosts Jazz Fest.

Syracuse Jazz Fest – “the Northeast’s Largest Free Jazz Festival” – is celebrating its 37th Anniversary this June with Free performances in 24 clubs and on 2 outdoor stages in Downtown Syracuse, NY.

Herbie Hancock, Gladys Knight, Spyro Gyra, Tower of Power, Tuba Skinny head a list of stellar Artists who will appear at various indoor and outdoor venues throughout the five-day festival.

WEDNESDAY

Traditions at the Links kicks off their free summer concert series every Wednesday 6:30 PM.

THURSDAY

Welcome  the extraordinary Jeff Black back to the 443 on June 22.

“His words and voice hold down center stage with a craft so deeply in the artistic pocket that it obscures anything outside” – Hyperbolium – No Depression

Tickets available.

FRIDAY

For over a decade, Hard Promises has been throwing the Teachers Gone Wild night to celebrate the end of another school year. This year we are making it bigger and better than ever! Thanks to Nu Business Marketing and Sharkey’s, we have moved it to Friday night (so no one needs to get up for the final day of school like in year’s past!) and made it a “FREE ADMISSION” show for everyone as a way of thanking all of Sharkey’s customers for their support.

SATURDAY

Root Shock w/s/g Adam Brooks are at Ray Brother’s Amphitheater. Doors at 7 PM.

SUNDAY

FRANK & ESCE invite you all to join us for a relaxing Sunday afternoon at the beautiful “Heritage Hill Brewhouse”! We’ll be performing on the outdoor stage (inside the brew house if it rains) at 3 PM.
