About the Narratio Fellowship
The Narratio Fellowship is a storytelling and leadership program that provides resettled refugee youth Fellows with the tools and resources to share their narratives and creative works on the world stage. Through a year-long program, Fellows work with artists in residence and program directors to develop and share stories across contexts, media, and languages. The program begins with a month-long summer workshop series and culminates in two key gatherings: a trip to New York City where Fellows showcase their work at the Metropolitan Museum of Art and an exhibit and performance in their local communities. In addition to providing youth fellows at educational transition points with academic mentorship and advising through partnerships with schools and universities, the Fellowship is designed to encourage and prepare alumni to shape the program’s growth and sustainability. This event is free and open to the public.

Friday

21+Halloweekend with Dark Hollow! Join us for a fun weekend at the Beer Hall on Friday, October 27th, & Saturday, October 28th, or come BOTH nights! There’s nothing like a Grateful Dead concert. Those old bumper stickers have seen a lot of mileage over the years. It was in the spirit of creating in the moment – the live concert experience, and love of The Great American Songbook that inspired the founding members of Dark Hollow to set out on their journey back in 1996. Theyve sought to carry on the Deads live tradition and tap into the collective band/crowd relationship that transforms ordinary moments into magic.Dark Hollow is now entering their 27th year paying tribute to the music of the Grateful Dead. Known for their dynamic performances, the band crafts songs from the extensive Dead family catalog to create unique concert experiences. Their ability to move seamlessly between songs and musical styles enables them to tell a musical story that both honors the original song versions and allows the band members to create new interpretations. And when the special moments arrive, they aim to elevate the room and lift your collective feet off the ground. To tap into the energy between the band and the audience.Featuring:Mike O’Hara (Lead Vocals)Mike Vincitore (Lead Guitar)Mike Hamilton (Rhythm Guitar)Mike Vertino (Bass Guitar)Pat Shaughnessy (Keyboards)Jeff Roney (Drums)Jack Jarvis (Drums)
