Week of November 28

Holiday Season is in full effect. This week I’m highlighting local shopping fests and holiday shows. If you’re not in the spirit yet these events will get you there.

A Christmas Carol is at Syracuse Stage Thursday, November 30- Sunday, December 3.
We believe everyone should be able to attend Syracuse Stage performances. With support from M&T Bank, 76 total tickets are available for select performances of “A Christmas Carol,” while supplies last.

Pay-what-you-will tickets must be claimed in person at the Box Office, 820 E. Genesee St., Syracuse, or by phone, 315.443.3275, on the day of the desired performance, subject to availability.

Box Office hours:
Wed – Fri, 10 AM – 7:30 PM
Saturday, 12 PM – 7:30 PM
Sunday, 12 PM – 7:30 PM

Limit of 4 tickets per person.

Wednesday you can see The Nutcracker at the Landmark Theater. Show at 7 pm.

The beloved family tradition is back: NUTCRACKER! Magical Christmas Ballet! Gather your loved ones for the warm-glow-nostalgia of America’s favorite Christmas celebration. Experience the extraordinary international cast and Ukrainian Principal Artists performing at the peak of classical European Ballet. Be transported by the magic of jaw-dropping acrobatics, larger than life puppets and stunning hand-crafted sets and costumes. Don’t miss this chance to experience the wonder of NUTCRACKER! Magical Christmas Ballet.

The Oncenter hosts The Nutcracker December 1-3. Tickets available. Magical dolls, mice, and candy, the Nutcracker is Syracuse City Ballet’s favorite holiday tradition and is sure to get you, your family and friends in the generous spirit of the season.

Wildflowers Crafted Underground Indie Handmade Market is open weekends 12- 5 pm through the holiday. Wildflowers also has a location in the Salt City Market.

Check out some really cool art on skate decks. This year the Deck the Halls show is in Liverpool at Stout Beard Brewing on Saturday.

Plowshares Crafts Fair runs Saturday- Sunday. Open studios at Delavan Center and The Gear Factory complete the local art tour downtown.

Cazenovia has two great opportunities to buy local Saturday. Stop by Meier’s Creek for the Makers Market and grab lunch. Then drive through the village to the Celebrate Madison Holiday Market to do more shopping.
