RootsCollider is an “Underground Funktronic Dance Rock” band from Rochester, NY that uses a studio producer’s approach to writing original music. The group creates their art primarily by layering melodies, rhythms, and samples made in Ableton with an anthemic riff rock approach. Think of if Rage Against the Machine & The Beastie Boys went to an illicit warehouse rave and collaborated with all of the DJ’s from EDM’s golden era of the 1990’s.

Join us to welcome back the Magnolia String Quarter for this exciting concert in our Emma Beard Room 2 pm.
The Magnolia String Quartet, celebrating its 18th year, is happy to be returning to perform another concert at the Fayetteville Free Library! Our professional quartet has performed at hundreds of events across New York State, specializing in weddings, parties, recording sessions, and special events. We are also honored to have dedicated performances to Make a Wish foundation and Golisano Children’s Hospital. Our quartet performs everything from Bach to Rock, and we look forward to performing this concert for Fayetteville Free Library patrons!

We’re SO excited to be presenting our “Super Bowl of Singing Champions” and you won’t want to miss this show! We’ve invited back past winners of our karaoke contests from the past 16 years (“Superstar Syracuse”, “Movin’ Idolz” and “Dueling Duos”) to compete to be the top dog….the CHAMPION of champions! Winners from as far back as 2008 are returning to sing. And there is $2000.00 in prize money up for grabs.
And YOU are invited to come enjoy the show! Doors will open at 630pm, show starts at 7pm. No fee to attend, 21 and over only. There will be some drink specials and our kitchen will be open for tasty snacks.
Up to 14 previous winners will perform and be judged on their singing ability, stage presence & choreography, song choice and overall “superstar qualities”. Audience response matters too!
Winning singer will be awarded $1500.00. (Cash prizes will be awarded for 2nd place & 3rd place also.)
