Join us for a conversation with Mahtab Hussain, the artist of our current exhibition, “Muslims in America: Syracuse Edition”
Mahtab Hussain is an artist, photographer and storyteller from Birmingham UK, who has explored Muslim presence and experience in his work over fifteen years. Gathering pictures and stories in Muslim communities, he has made iconic experiences for viewers in public exhibitions and installations, and several books. His contemporary portraits of “beautiful, brown Muslims” have been shown and collected by museums in the UK and around the world.
Over the past few years, Mahtab Hussain has been creating work for his new series of work, “Muslims in America.” ArtRage Gallery funded his recent visit to Syracuse, NY and we are proud to see Syracuse included in this ongoing project.

On the heels of a successful YouTube special and album release entitled ‘Uncle Ernie’, Erin Harkes brings her dry, wry, sarcastic, and self-deprecating humor to the 443.
Erin Harkes has performed all over North America and is a regular at New York Comedy Club in NYC. She has two albums available on iTunes and Spotify and has been played on multiple Sirius channels.

Stay Fresh Gallery hosts Love Stinks Art Show Opening 7 pm.
From celebrating getting shot in the ass by an arrow, illegal marriages, and your partner’s touch. To sitting at home with a tub of ice cream, and a lavender-infused joint watching the Gilmore Girls it’s time for everyone’s favorite holiday to hate, Valentine’s Day! We’ve assembled a banger line-up of artists from all over the US to participate in Stay Fresh’s first-ever Love Stinks show!
The show will run from Feb 9th to Feb 24th with an opening reception on February

Cazenovia Winterfest Weekend is loaded!
Caz Winterfest is a celebration of all things Winter – it’s a FREE event for all to enjoy.

Snowshoe 5PM-7PM from Meier’s Creek Brewing Co. to Lorenzo State Historic Site, guided by torches to light your path. Horse-drawn sleigh rides to and from Lorenzo State Historic Site & Meier’s Creek Brewing Co. will be available Saturday as well from 1PM-3PM and 7PM-9PM.
