Well the weather may have thrown a wrench in some of your weekend plans but there was still plenty going on and the city was buzzing.
I attended Golden Girls Live and in Color at the Palace Theatre performed by men in drag. It was an amazing show put on by Go Jo Productions and BLAAC showcasing a lot of local talent. Keep your eyes out for future show announcements.

Funk ‘n Waffles is open for Easter with Jazz Jam at 3 pm followed by David Lowe then Open Mic.
David Lowe is a Midwestern singer/songwriter originally from Cleveland, Ohio now residing in central New York. He spent a good portion of his young adult life hitchhiking around the United States in search of adventure beyond the cornfields and steel mills of the Rust Belt.
His musical influences range from Robert Johnson to John Prine and are a blend of blues, folk, rock-n-roll and country. His songs are gritty takes from life on the road, love lost and love gained, triumph and tragedy. He is currently hard at work in the studio recording his own music, as well as producing other artists in the area with Brian Lauri of Lion’s Den Studio.
