This weekend we turn the clocks back. We will be moving to more inside events. People start thinking about the holidays. Here’s my first reminder to shop local. I’ve got some cool art shows to share this week and I’ll continue to share unique gifting ideas this season.
Laura Buys “Vageode Collection” shows November 6 at Life-Force Sanctuary. 
Laura combines texture and color to celebrate the sacred vagina and Earth’s beautiful geodes. All pieces are for sale and custom orders are taken.
Kasai will host artist Tino Lopez for the month of November. Stop in for some ramen and take in the art on the building’s unique stone walls.
Nick Feeley, cofounder of A Lovely Time Festival, will show his collection “I Failed Color Theory,” on November 18 at Stay Fresh Gallery.
The Landmark Theater’s new marquee is up! Shows are scheduled and tickets are for sale. That sounds like a great gift idea!
As always, Wildflowers Armory and McCarthy Mercantile is a one stop shop for local handmade gifts. They will host Crafted Underground each weekend leading up to the holidays.
