2027 CNY Pride Parade and Festival Date Announcement and Temporary Relocation

Syracuse, NY – CNY Pride has announced that the 2027 Pride Parade and Festival will take place on Saturday, June 26, 2027, and will temporarily move to Chevy Court at the New York State Fairgrounds due to construction at Progress Park in Syracuse’s Inner Harbor.

The temporary relocation ensures that the festival will have ample space, parking, and facilities to host all participants safely and without disruption during construction.

CNY Pride plans to return to Progress Park once construction is completed. More details regarding the 2027 Parade and Festival will be announced at a later date. The festival will remain free and open to all.

“There is no place like home, so we will miss our Progress Park. But, the park is getting a fully inclusive/accessible playground and many other upgrades, it will be great for Syracuse and for our future festivals.” said Jimmy Monto, President of CNY Pride

“The Great New York State Fair has a longstanding and cherished history of celebrating the LGBTQ+ community in Central New York and across the state,” said NYS Fair Director Julie LaFave. “We’re pleased to welcome CNY Pride to the Fairgrounds for its 2027 celebration and look forward to providing a space where thousands of people can come together in a spirit of inclusion, community and pride this June.”

“CNY Pride is a valued organization here in our community. said Mayor Sharon Owens “While we are renovating Progress Park, we’re grateful that the festival has found a welcoming temporary home at the NYS Fairgrounds, and I look forward to welcoming them back home next year.”
