infinitePOETRY at InfinitePOP

By Misse Fedele · Saturday, December 9

On Friday night Michael A. Gaut, Mic Tha Poet, brought open poetry night to Infinitepop in Armory Square. He spoke of the power of art to heal and provided a safe place for poets to share their words. It was a cozy atmosphere in the shop surrounded by local artistry and a supportive crowd emitting positive vibes. Poets shared personal and powerful messages. It was good for the soul.

Marco Soulo and Signature MiMi opened the night with a duet of spoken word and music accompaniment. http://www.signaturesoul.love

The Painting Poet Art & Activity Center occupies a space in Lyncourt and hosts “Open House Poetry” once a month with the next event scheduled December 21. Their space is filled with art, branded clothing and hosts paint parties. Michael is also starting a small publishing venture.

The Painting Poet has a booth at Infinitepop in Armory Square through December with various art and poetry themed pieces for sale. They are joined by over 40 other local vendors. https://m.facebook.com/infinitepopupshop/
