Something For Everyone: The Green Gate Inn

The Green Gate Tavern, located at 2 Main St. Camillus NY 13031, is a popular gathering site for music fans in the Syracuse area. This fine bar and restaurant hosts a regular open-mic on Tuesdays, dubbed “Jopen Mic” and hosted by Joe Henson. Mexican food is featured on the menu on Tuesdays!
Saturday evenings draw a crowd for the featured band. This most recent Saturday featured the duo Mike Powell and John Hanus, from The Black River. Their performance of comfortable, fun cover songs mixed in with originals kept the crowd dancing right up until the end! This duo, as well as The Black River, is poised for more than just local success. Green Gate also has Jazz in the Burbs on Thursdays nights, 7:30 pm Jazz In The Burbs
