You’re Invited: Community Day at “the E”

Join us Saturday, October 17, from 10 am-2 pm, for a Community Day filled with creativity, connection, and family fun.

Organized to commemorate America’s 250th anniversary, Rebels Radicals, & Revolutionaries invites visitors to reflect on the individuals, events, and ideas that continuously shape (and reshape) the United States.

Come explore the exhibition, make something of your own, and discover how creativity can spark change. Whether you’re a Rebel, a Radical, or a Revolutionary, there’s something waiting for you at the Everson.

Event Highlights:

• Guided gallery tours: 11 am & 1 pm

• Watch and participate in 3D printing demos

• Design & screen print your own T-shirt

• Write & illustrate your own zine, inspired by our exhibitions

• Explore the galleries with a scavenger hunt

• Get caricatured by artist John Manders

• Treat yourself: Ice cream from The Ice Cream Stand, café specials at Louise, and complimentary cider & donuts

• Tactile Library opening: Explore the Museum through touch

• Browse a reading list curated by Parthenon Books, inspired by America 250

• AND many more fun surprises you’ll have to stop in to see!

Bring your family, or a friend, and spend the day exploring the Everson. We can’t wait to see you there!

Community Day admission is Pay-What-You-Wish ($1 minimum donation) for the general public and FREE for Everson Members.
