ReDefining Resistance…Women in the Lead!

Seneca Falls, NY (e-release). Women March in Seneca Falls2019 is pleased to announce the line-up of speakers and performers for the 3rd Annual Rally & March…“per-Sisters ReDefining Resistance….WOMEN in the LEAD,” commemorating the 700 historic women’s marches for equality of 2017:

All supporters of women’s rights as human rights are encouraged to gather in solidarity on January 19, 2019, 10 am, at Women’s Rights National Historical Park in Seneca Falls, birthplace of women’s rights in America. Speakers to focus remarks on “Women In The Lead” as per Unity Principles of WMinSF: ending systemic racism & sexism; environmental justice; equal pay; eradicating violence against women; gender parity in elected office; LGBTQIA, immigrant, and disability rights; passage of the proposed ERA; and, reproductive rights/self-sovereignty. March step-off led by suffragist descendants, 11:30am; Feminist Music-Fest (see poster below) immediately following march at end of route; artisan vendors, participating civic groups and food trucks available.

Women March in Seneca Falls2019 continues as a 100% inclusive march and rally.
Operating Agreements:
We will use no violence (physical or verbal) towards any person.
We will not destroy or damage property.
We will promote a tone of respect, honesty, transparency, and accountability in our actions.
We will not carry anything that can be construed as a weapon, nor possess (or consume) any alcohol or drugs.
We are non-partisan and use the Women March in Seneca Falls primarily to express our support for women’s rights and human rights in our communities and the country, rather than to criticize politicians or political parties.
We hold each other accountable to respect these agreements.
