What a success. Give Tim a great round of applause for having the plan, setting it up and managing this great event. Rollover Fest was a night of some of the best bands in Syracuse paying tribute to The Doors, Grateful Dead and Pink Floyd.
It started with a kick in your ass with The Barndogs bringing back the Doors, not only by playing the songs but the quality in which they made the Doors come alive on stage.
Andy Comstock sounded so close to Jim Morrison I thought he would start rolling around on the stage and the police would have to stop the show. It’s a good thing he is a great bassist too, that probably kept him in his place on stage, by the end of the first song, the crowd was up and dancing down front.

Next up was the popular Dark Hollow paying tribute to The Grateful Dead. If you weren’t down front by now, then you were dancing in the isles, everybody was moving to the music.
Dark Hollow is well known for their excellent impression of The Grateful dead. Dark Hollow sure did bring back great music. I would have loved to been down front to get good photo’s but it was crowded with happy people dancing.

Finally, Radio Floyd took the stage. Radio Floyd has only performed one time before this event, but you wouldn’t know it. Starting out with Crazy Diamond and just bringing us through a journey of Pink Floyd’s best. Tim Robinson was not only on stage but the man behind the curtain, not to be ignored like the wizard of Oz, Tim created an evening not to be forgotten. The stage was managed very well. We never waited long between acts. The light show, especially during Radio Floyd, was outstanding and best was the sound, clear and LOUD!
If there were problems, it never showed. The evening started on time and the Bands did not let the audience down.
