Syracuse Fashion Week’s Underground Show Rocks Through the Ages

Friday’s fashion show theme was Rock Through the Ages. Designers each had a decade from 1920-2000. Pro models, musicians, and local business people joined forces with the Syracuse Fashion Week team of makeup artists, hair stylists, photographers and designers to put on the daring Underground Show at Marisa’s Fortress of Beauty in Armory Square.

You might recognize musicians Jess Novak and Nadine Prince and the Ish Guitar crew to name a few rockstar participants. Designers included JPHii, Avery Vintage, Ken Kushner Designs, Paint Nite, Alexis Reed, S&M Designs, Nail Bang with Carmelo’s Ink City, Jennifer Roland and Alexis Reed. Salt City Burlesque and The Rockabetties made a debut at this event.  The Underground Show is the sexiest event of this year’s three night run. Other shows took place at Aloft Hotel and The Landmark Theater. All proceeds go to the CNY Food Bank.
