You may have noticed Ish Guitars left Armory Square. Jesse Wilson and his team moved out in April when much of the city was closed down. They relocated to a bigger space and spent the last 6 months renovating. The building boasts an inviting showroom, acoustic practice room, a lesson room, full workshop, warehouse, and parking. Visits are appointment only and allow the staff to truly accommodate the customer. Their real focus is on pro musicians. Another exciting part of the evolution is the future of Ish Cars and Guitars. “I’m fulfilling my life’s passions. We will feature cool modern and vintage cars and motorcycles. The official launch is planned for Spring,” Wilson said.

So, where’s Ish? The new spot is at 1929 Teall Ave. They’ve got twice the space. Amar Anthony, guitar tech, has every tool imaginable in the workshop. Anthony Saturno is the lesson instructor. Check out the website and socials to see Tom McCormick’s talented photography and videography. You can find helpful videos on YouTube . “Get the vibes without being in the store. You can even listen and compare guitars, ” Wilson explained. Jay Lock is back in town and working inventory. Everyone and everything has their proper place and there’s room to keep growing. There are around 400 guitars in stock. Custom builds can be completed remotely. The shop’s renovations are almost complete. There is a new PRS display coming. The showroom has been designed to be easily transformed and tailored for events. The future Ish Cars and Guitars will be a very unique shopping experience. Stay on the lookout as Covid clears up for events.
“I love and miss the community of Armory Square. We had a fantastic run there. I would like to have another business there someday but this is where Ish should be,” Wilson said.
