Theatre Du Jour Adds New Venues

Theatre Du Jour adds new venues to their exclusive list of culinary partners

Joining the TDJ family of venues in 2018 are Virgilio’s Event Center in Fulton and The Tailwater Lodge in Altmar. Both establishments offer a unique, rich and intimate setting for TDJ’s own special brand of dinner theatre and both have extensive expansion projects in the works so stay tuned for more big things to come!

TDJ brings the interactive, touring dinner theatre productions and the best local talent to the table – but it takes a special venue with a conscientious team, the right ambiance and the best local cuisine to truly complete the recipe for their loyal patrons.

From the very beginning they aspired to bring Central New York #thebestlocaltalent and #thebestlocalcuisine… featuring a charming atmosphere, intimate settings and themed cuisine that paired perfectly with the interactive shows they were offering.

“We have been so fortunate over the past three seasons to partner with likeminded establishments who “get it”, TDJ founder Tammy Wilkinson remarks. “We knew it would be a learning and growing experience – bringing theatre to the people in alternative settings. We felt there was a market for an evening like ours – where all your senses are engaged – so we just went for it!”

Treasured venues like The Eis House, GS Steamers, The Barnes Hiscock Mansion and Colloca Estate Winery were also ready to take the journey and continue to build a following of patrons who are hungry for entertainment!

So what’s on the menu in 2018 you ask? A couple of David Landau’s world famous murder mysteries – Noir Suspicions and Bullets for Broadway, Love, Loss and what I Wore by Nora Effron and An Act of God (a CNY premiere) by David Javerbaum. As always you can expect TDJ themed photo booth, local musicians and many interactive extras.
