Sylvan Beach, New York just east of Syracuse is home to some of the best “on-the-brink” talent in the entire music industry this side of the Mississippi. With multi-instrument playing, beat-boxing, rhythm thumping, body moving, vocal artistry, these musicians and artists take their full-time careers seriously. Original music is back as Jess “NY” Novak and other talented artists like Liam Alone and Anthony Saturno take over the stage with fun, entertaining, crowd engaging, rhythmical sets to the likes of what few have ever seen nor heard before.
The Harpoon Eddie’s Songwriters Series Final was presented by IndigoHawk and held in Sylvan Beach, New York on July 16th, 2018. The contest featured 24 finalists. Each who had previously won a bid after competing in a local contest by performing their own original songs.
Talent Agent, Wendy Klein Kay was the guest of honor and special guest judge. Wendy provided her expertise and instruction by sharing her inspiring story and accomplishments as a woman in the music industry.
Jess “NY” Novak and the Jess Novak Band are on fire! With three members of the band either winning the songwriter series or making it to the finals. Bandmate, Liam Alone, won the first series, Jess NY scored at this one and Anthony Saturno has been a finalist in both. Go JNB ????????
Jess NY’s winning song was “Rat a Tat” – one of her earliest songs and it still has got legs! With quite a following of #ratatatters out there, this song is sure to keep your body moving.
