What is Wildflowers? “We are a uniquely Syracuse shop and venue that showcases the many talented creatives of Upstate New York.” Michael John Heagerty, board member, explained.
Wildflowers announced their upcoming move to a new location in November. During the month of September you can still book an event at the current location’s outdoor alley and indoor event space located behind the Museum of Science & Technology at 225 Jefferson St. Special rates are being offered during operating hours. New vendors will join during the first week of October to mix it up for the holiday season.
The new location in the McCarthy Building will boast a large rentable event space for all kinds of art, music, poetry, and more. Follow Wildflowers to keep up on all the exciting news for our local art and music community.
Interested in drumming? All levels are encouraged to participate September 27 at the free public Downtown Drum Circle.
Crafted 2 is October 5th and 6th around and above the current location and train platform. It is a festival packed with handmade crafts, two stages filled with music, and food trucks with special appearances by horn ensemble Honk. The first Crafted event was a success and they have taken feedback to improve and create an even better downtown festival.
