You’re Invited to the Wedding of the Year

Well not so fast. Yes, there is a wedding planned and you are invited. But, given what we know so far, we are not so sure this huge and lavish wedding will come off as planned. But, come anyway and enjoy the belly laughs as the Oswego Players, Inc. present “What the Rabbi Saw.”

Well not so fast. Yes, there is a wedding planned and you are invited. But, given what we know so far, we are not so sure this huge and lavish wedding will come off as planned. But, come anyway and enjoy the belly laughs as the Oswego Players, Inc. present “What the Rabbi Saw.” April 26 – 28, April 3 – 5 on the Frances Marion Brown Stage in the Civic Arts Center of Oswego.

Tom Briggs, popular educator and director has lined up a great cast of characters to play out the words and action of Billy Van Zandt and Jane Milmore’s hilarious farce. The fast paced action of the play will keep you on the edge of your seats.

You see, the Bride, Wendy, played by Rachel Torba-Grage, is not quite sure she really wants to marry Walter, played by Matt Fleming. And Claudia, Wendy’s sister and Maid of Honor, played by Victoria Eckhard, is dating Mitch, played by Don DelPriore, but has her eyes on Walter. and Claudia, the Bride to be, really likes Mitch, the Best Man, but is about to marry Walter. Did you follow all of that?

If you are at all confused by any of this, then you have to make reservations right now by calling the Box Office at 315-343-5138 or better yet, book your seats online at oswegoplayers.org. And if you hurry and make your reservations for Opening Night, Friday April 26th, you get to attend the Wedding Reception after the show with cake and punch. And you get to meet the cast and crew to boot.

You must be present to figure all of this out and will definitely enjoy 90 minutes of pure fun and mayhem. Adult tickets are $14, Students (18 +) and Seniors are $9. Now where can you go wrong for those prices.

So, once again, you are cordially invited to join in on the laughter April 26, 27 and May 3, 4 at 7:30 PM and April 28 and May 5th at 2:00 PM. And who knows you may be the lucky one to catch the bouquet.
