Depth and Desire

Join Central New York Ballet at the Everson Museum of Art for Depth and Desire, a full-length production spanning two weekends.
The program opens with four world premieres by Artistic Director Claire Solis and guest artists Jared Brunson, Nataniel Taylor, and Ryo Munakata, exploring passion in all its complexity with music from neoclassical strings to the soul of Etta James.
Syracuse native and rising star Nataniel Taylor knits together skill and raw energy in his breakout choreographic work. CNYB also welcomes back nationally acclaimed choreographer Jared Brunson and his joy-filled new work Cloud Nine. Guest artists from Ballet of New York will perform innovative choreography by Ryo Munakata.
The production culminates in a powerful reimagining of Bizet’s Carmen by Claire Solis, offering audiences an engaging and visually stunning experience, featuring a special guest artist from Ballet San Antonio.
